Dr. Ettienne Coetzee
M.B., ChB (Pret), M. Med (Ortho) FCS (SA)
Dr. Coetzee obtained his pre-graduate degree at the University of Pretoria in 1993. Specializing in orthopaedic surgery, he received his post graduate degree M.Med (Ortho) from the University of Pretoria and his FRC (SA) from the College of Surgeons in 2000.
Since 2001 he has been in private practice focussing on spine surgery and specifically deformity surgery (scoliosis). He served on the South African Spine Society as academic co-ordinator for 2 years.
Dr. Coetzee also contributes to various academic programs and surgeon training programs.
He is the current President of the South African Spine Society www.saspine.org
